Comment Spam just sucks. I really wish Google would find a good way to punish those who engage in comment spam to lower the rankings of such sites until they fall to zero. In the hopes of eliminating the above mentioned comment spam I'm going to try out Blogger's "word verification" comments and see how that works. If this is bothersome to some of my regular commenters let me know.

Comment Spam just sucks. I really wish Google would find a good way to punish those who engage in comment spam to lower the rankings of such sites until they fall to zero. all of my other blogger friends use this, so i'm cool with it. i just hate getting the 8 letter verifications. the 5 letter ones are best.
It is fine with me. I hate spam commenters too.
the sadistic side of me finds it entertaining that blogger blogs are finally getting comment spam, so now you all have firsthand knowledge of what i've been battling for years... and why my blog eats comments. :P
I suppose I will put up with this because almost everyone is doing this now.
I am not using the word verification thing on mine because since I get emailed every time a comment arrives, I just delete it. Been getting about 1 every two days, so it's not that bad.
