Just another thing that I'm quickly finding out about women and what they say vs. what they really mean.
Most women say they want an intelligent man. However, women do not want "intelligent" men. They want, more accurately, a man who is as intelligent as they are, no more and no less. There is a BIG difference. Either that or they want a man who is smart who doesn't talk about intelligent stuff, which of course is almost a contradiction. On the last few dates I've been on I've literally been told I'm too smart. Seems odd to me.
I know for me, when I say I want a beautiful, kind, intelligent women I mean exactly that. The more beatiful, the more kind, and the more intelligent the better. I don't think I have an upper limit on any of these characteristics. I don't think it's possible for a women to be too beautiful or too smart, but then again I haven't met a female Einstein so maybe I could be wrong on this.
I guess someone can be too extreme but I don't think that I'm that smart, come on, I'm no brain surgeon. I highly doubt this would be the case for me. I mean if an extremely beautiful women like Halle Barry or someone extremely smart like Marilyn vos Savant I doubt I would run the other way. In fact, I think it would be very attractive. But maybe that is just me.

i've always thought that most men are intimidated by smarter women. i could be wrong, but i'm just sayin'...
Yes, most men probably are. However most men do not list intelligence as one of their requirements whereas most of the women I know do.
I've found the same thing, women who criticized me for using my intellect but claim to want a smart guy. Certainly not all women do this. But, I feel like my intelligence has been more often frowned on than appreciated by women who claim to value intelligence in a guy. It doesn't make sense to me. I value intelligence in women and I didn't change my mind when I dated a girl in college who was much smarter than me. This leads me to believe that when many women say they want a smart guy they aren't actually seeking intelligence; rather they are trying to avoid really dumb guys. Or, perhaps they are mislabelling cluefulness or social skills as intelligence. Either way it's false advertising.
Typical women trying to make excuses for being crazy :)
Amanda.. that is an intelligent comment! Wanna get married? lol
Now seriously.. you can not show your intelectual interests when you meet a women .. and just make small talk.. but the time will come when you will have some more profound topic in the conversation.. and it doesn't matter what our specific areas of interests are.. i care more if a women is interesting.. which means she is curious and has the intelectual capacity to understand whatever interests her!
my 2 cents
