If you see that the referrer is images.google.com can't you also see the search parameters?
I see that Milo's picture comes up first if you search for "saddest puppy".
No, I think the URL is too long or something so I can't see the search parameters.
Good Find about the saddest puppy thing but that is actually a different picture of milo that comes up.
If you search 'best friends milo' you get this http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&lr=&q=best+friends+milo
Or 'milo bandit'

I searched for "saddest", then this picture came up..
I searched for the 'saddest puppy' and this picture was nummer ein.
